An unforgettable experience, and enlightened me in so many ways.

The retreat was an unforgettable experience for me and enlightened me in so many ways.
I’m now trying different ingredients in my food and all to the good.
When i go walking, i am looking at the environment in a different light thanks to Keva.

​I loved the holistic approach of the program, nutrition, health and wellbeing

I’m very glad and grateful to have discovered this wee retreat in a beautiful and peaceful location. Over the course of two days I found what I was looking for to feel calmer and relaxed. It was held by wonderful people, Hannah and Elysia who were very supportive and kind, both very knowledgeable. The program is well designed and organised with a variety of activities including free-time which was appropriate for me.
Loved everything, the rewilding and nature walks which both days were such a lovely start to the day and the yoga session both with a very inspiring lady called Caoimhe and the plant-based cooking class was fantastic! It was also good to meet very pleasant people.
​I loved the holistic approach of the program, nutrition, health and wellbeing.
Looking forward to my next retreat!

I recently treated myself to a wellness retreat which was hosted by the lovely Hannah and Elysia at Nutrition and Cake. I enjoyed a scenic car trip on the way from Falkirk to the Highlands! And…Oh. My. Goodness. I was absolutely blown away from the moment I arrived at Tarrel Farmhouse. My room was immaculate and had stunning views to the front of the house. I had the best stay over 3 nights, in a really comfortable bed with amazing freshly prepared plant based food and lovely like minded guests and hosts. The retreat encompassed so many things including vinyasa yoga, meditation, folklore and firepit storytelling, and wildling walks to the shore and local landscapes (by the fab Caoimhe Keohane), nutritional advice and support from Hannah and Elysia, a Vietnamese cooking lesson, and even time to spend with 2 new 9 week old kune kune pigs on site (Stanley & Valentine , whom I absolutely loved!)! I’ve learned so much about switching off, and I also feel so much more confident in my vegan journey going forward and have loved trying so many new recipes and foods. I can highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for time to switch off, re-balance, reset and to spend in and around an abundance of nature. I’ll be planning my return there when I can!

Elysia and Hannah helped me loose 2 stone in 6 months. They taught me what a balanced diet looked like and I made small changes week by week. They are both very knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anyone.

I’m amazed at how my outlook and practice has changed

Hannah and Elysia have helped me look at food in a more healthy way both nutritionally and emotionally. They are a constant source of knowledge and support. Their down to earth approach has me at ease; I never feel judged, just supported. I’m amazed at how my outlook and practice has changed. I’ve enjoyed cooking more from scratch! I would definitely recommend them.
